Waurika’s Young Farmer’s Chuckwagon Feed will be held tomorrow starting at 11:00-1:00 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. After the Chuckwagon Feed the Waurika FFA and 4-H students will be having their annual Local Show at the fairgrounds. Everyone is invited!

The Young Farmer’s Annual Trophy Auction was a huge success last night! We appreciate everyone who came to support the Waurika 4-H and FFA exhibtors. The Young Farmer’s  Chuckwagon Feed will be held February 23, 2012 at the fairgrounds in Waurika. Waurika Young Farmer’s will hold their annual 4-H and FFA trophy auction Monday, Feb 13th at the elementary school. Trophies,  pies, and cakes will be auctioned off to the highest bidder, with the proceeds to be used for the upcoming county livestock show bonus sale. Meal will start at 6 p.m. with the auction beginning at 7 p.m. B & S Auction service will provide the entertainment. Everyone is invited, come out and support the 4-H and FFA students!(:

Yesterday Bailey Wesberry sang for Oklahoma state legislators at the Dry Beaver restaurant. Waurika FFA advisor Mr. McCauley, Chapter President Brandi Clark, and Vice President Kyote Dunn were also in attendance.

The Opening and Closing Ceremonies team competed at the state contest in Stillwater yesterday. The team competed well but did not make the finals. Members of the team were, Melea Barrick, Kendrick Davis, Courtland Henderson, Karrington Morris, Karla Romero, and Bailey Wesberry.
